“Portrait of Arthur St. Clair” by Charles Willson Peale (American, c. 1782-1784)

Scottish-American soldier and politician who served the British Army during the French and Indian War, then became major general for the Continental Army during the American War for Independence. He later served as President of the Continental Congress.
